What Was in the Demo

According to the June 15 Steam announcement, the demo let players explore and battle through the game's opening region. It used a specially curated lineup of enemy types for the demo.

The demo included a first boss encounter against the Minister of Public Relations and her companion. It also offered four distinct weapons and a look at part of the permanent meta-progression tree.

The announcement described the central setup as managing a political campaign during the day and fighting a corrupt administration at night. It also invited players to provide feedback on combat, the campaign bus, and the Fluffies.

How the Demo Related to Early Access

The demo announcement preceded Anomaly President's August 3, 2026 Early Access launch. Its content was framed as an introductory, focused version intended to gather player feedback before release.

Early Access is separate from the demo. The Steam Community page states that Anomaly President is an Early Access game and includes an August 3 announcement saying the game was then available in Early Access.
